Cities Faith and Community Forum
A network of key interfaith organisations in major European cities, acting as a bridge between local governments and citizens.
With the rise of hate crime, extremism and a lack of social cohesion, many are asking how faith institutions can use their influence to address these problems and support marginalised communities.
The Cities Faith and Community Forum (CFCF) is a network that combines the strengths of key interfaith organisations in major cities throughout Europe. The network acts as a bridge between local governments and citizens.
Alongside Faiths Forum for London, CFCF’s members include:
- The Blanquerna Observatory
- The Center for Cultural Dialogue (CKD)
- The National Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland (CORE Forum)
- The Dublin City Interfaith Forum (DCIF)
- The Edinburgh Interfaith Association
- KAICIID
CFCF’s key aims
- To celebrate diversity and enable people of faith to contribute towards social cohesion.
- To tackle extremism and hate crime, and build resilience.
- To help shape policy, with a focus on the integration of marginalised communities.
- To improve the standard of living for migrant and resident communities.
