About us

Faiths Forum for London was founded as a centre for community engagement and research. Today we are a network of faith communities representing nine world faiths, working with government, public bodies, businesses and charities to improve outcomes for faith communities across the capital.

What we stand for

Our mission

We promote understanding of nine world faiths through faith literacy training and by facilitating dialogue and good relations between faith communities and wider society. Through bespoke training and resources, we strengthen the leadership, capacity and governance of faith institutions.

Founded as a centre for community engagement and research, we empower our partners to contribute to social action and policy. By building understanding between faiths, we build tolerance and counter hate.

Our vision

Robust faith communities that are integrated within, and contribute towards, a more tolerant London.

We are committed to developing and diversifying the ability of faith institutions to contribute to the resilience and wellbeing of religious communities and wider society. We envision a society where faith institutions are recognised as a positive force for tolerance, respect, understanding and reconciliation. Through a driven and dynamic approach, we believe we can build a cohesive society where everyone has equal access and opportunities.

Our people

We aim to be as transparent as possible about what we do, how we do it and who we do it with. Here are the people who make up our organisation, guided by our vision and values.

Central team

Our team develops programmes and campaigns that tackle the social issues affecting the nine world faiths we represent. Together with our network of faith leaders, we support their communities and work to build a better London for everyone.
