Dream it Do it Project
Delivered in June 2021 with Hasmonean High School for Girls and Al-Zahra School, which is run by the Al Khoei Foundation.
Faiths Forum for London partnered with Hasmonean High School for Girls and Al-Zahra School (run by the Al-Khoei Foundation) to bring the Dream it, Do it project to their pupils in June 2021.
The programme was a series of workshops that taught girls from Jewish and Islamic faith schools how to create and deliver their own local social action campaigns. It covered four key areas:
- Building a campaign
- Fundraising
- Video editing
- Graphic design
It ran as a three-month mentoring scheme, ending with a final day on which the girls pitched their projects to a panel of judges to try to win funding.
The programme gave participants the chance to build their skills, take part in social action and get to know one another, building lasting interfaith friendships.
