Trees of London 2018

Following our successful interfaith tree planting project from last year, a total of 34 trees were planted across 11 Boroughs in partnership with 20 bodies including interfaith groups and places of worship. Faiths Forum for London would like to announce our second annual tree planting initiative, in partnership with the Mayor of London.
We seek to empower faith communities and organisations to take the lead themselves, by committing to plant at least one tree. We believe that 80 further trees can be planted across 20 or more Boroughs between now and December 2018.

Trees have  different meanings to different people from different faiths and none. But what makes #LondonUnited is that no matter what your faith, no matter what you believe, nature is one, London is one and now, all Londoners no matter what their belief is can come together and plant trees together to show the world that London is united.

If you run a London organisation that is willing to plant a tree in the name of interfaith then please email ali@faithsforum4london.org to receive your free tree planting toolkit.

Follow our project and read the stories of the different faces behind each tree planted.
