Interfaith Tree Planting in Kingston

The interfaith tree planting in Kingston at Kingston Road Recreation Ground, aims to promote community spirit, create interfaith connections and improve the natural beauty of the area.
On the 23rd of February 2018, Faiths Forum for London, and Huda Surrey Islamic Centre will be planting trees together at 2:30pm

We welcome you all to join us to foster cooperation between different faith groups and encourage more interaction in local communities.

Where: Kingston Road Recreation Ground, 332 Kingston Rd, New Malden KT3 3RX
When: Friday 23rd February 2018, At: 2.30pm
Meeting area: Meet at 2:00pm in Huda Surrey Islamic Centre and walk or drive to the park.
Who: Huda Surrey Islamic Centre
What: We will be planting 2 Paulownia Tomentosa Trees

Why: To promote community spirit, create interfaith connections and improve the natural beauty of the area
Future: There will also be an opportunity for a long term commitment to the nurturing of these trees if any of your congregation is interested
