2017 is the 70th year anniversary of the partition of India.
This event was monumental in the lives of people from South Asia and continues to be significant in defining the identity and values of people who have any association with South Asia.
70 years on, King’s College London in collaboration with the Faiths Forum for London is hosting an event to both commemorate the partition and look towards integration of societies and faith organisations affected by the partition.
We warmly invite you to join us for an evening in which we will be hearing from a panel of eminent speakers on partition, including Professor Ian Talbot from the University of Southampton and Canon Michael Roden.
Formal presentations will be followed by a drinks reception and photo exhibition based around integration.
