On 25th June, the fourth project under our inter-generational gardening project funded by the Mayor of London took place across two locations in South East London: Christchurch East Greenwich and the Clockhouse Community Centre in Woolwich.

Volunteers aged between 15 and 90 cleared ground and built gardens for the local community to enjoy.

The fourth event took place over the weekend where eight 14 year old boys from the Darul Uloom Madrassah in Chislehurst learnt the basics of gardening and created beautiful flower beds on either side of the gate between Kemnal Park Cemetery and Eternal Gardens Muslim cemetery in Bromley, where people off all faiths can admire them.
